Dear Distributors, dealers and music lovers, I have been ill for sometime which is why I´ve not been in touch with you. This however, didn´t stop my love for music and the desire to develop and design new products. I stopped developing and producing the old models in September 2006. The last design I made was the Space 294. After September 2006 I have had nothing to do with production of the old models - neither have I done any research and development for Notthingham Analouge. I am well aware that the old models are still being produced but this is done without any involvement whatsoever on my part. While recovering from my illness, I had so many ideas about how to advance the performance of the old designs. In order to take the performance to a new level, I had to start on a clean sheet. That meant investing in new precision machinery and a new research lab as well as spending a lot of time researching. Of course physics don`t change so some of the original ideas from the old models are still utilized but complete new design principles are used. These new revolutionary ideas have led to great improvements in sonics, musicality, realism, phasing, coloration etc., which would never have been possible, trying to further develop the old designs. All new models will be manufactured under my new company name - “Fletcher Audio.”   In the future only models from “Fletcher Audio” will be genuine Tom Fletcher products(with the exception of “The Blue” which was designed solely for Mr. Mezek in Slovenia). The new designs have already been enjoyed by a handful of people who love their music and have lived with the old models. I feel confident that those who love the old design will appreciate the great advance in musicality that these new designs offer. The new Fletcher Audio models are, and will be, produced by music loving people who have great experience in the analogue field. These are people who are not only passionate about music, but also about building my record player designs. The knowledge they already have together with the knowledge imparted by myself, not only ensures longevity of the product but also promises the definite possibility of taking the designs further in the future to come.
